Algunos tips para cuidar a tu Cuyo
- Te sugerimos que en vez de usar viruta (aserrín) en la jaula de tu Cuyo, coloques papel periódico, es mucho más fácil la limpieza de la jaula siempre y cuando lo cambies 2 veces al día como mínimo.
- Te recomendamos la siguiente dieta diaria para un Cuyo adulto:
¾ de taza de Cuyina
½ taza de ensalada de vegetales frescos, dividido en 2 porciones: una por la mañana y otra por la tarde. - Cubos de Heno.
- Ten mucho cuidado con las alturas, como otros animalitos que tienen los ojos a los lados de su cabeza tienen problema al medir alturas, por este motivo muchos Cuyos jóvenes pueden accidentarse al saltar fuera de nuestras manos y caer de alturas importantes; se puede romper algún hueso o tener heridas internas, por lo que debes tener mucho cuidado de dejar solo a tu Cuyo sobre muebles altos.
- A los cuyitos les es indispensable comer chile morron, por la gran cantidad de vitamina c que contiene, ademàs la acelga en exceso les hace daño por que contiene mucho hierro (Tip enviado por: Karla)
- Si a tu cuyo le cuesta mucho trabajo tomar agua de su bebedero, AYUDALO! podrias colocar una hojita de lechuga en el bebedero de forma en que cuando coma la lechuga encuentre el agua, he escuchado de personas que les ha funcionado (Tip enviado por: Lore)
